Nike Stacks Swooshes For Their Latest 40th Anniversary Air Force 1

Nike Stacks Swooshes For Their Latest 40th Anniversary Air Force 1

The Air Force 1‘s year-long celebration is beginning to wind down to a close. And to ensure an exciting and memorable 40th, Nike has clothed the Bruce Kilgore-designed classic in a drove of new make-up. Its anniversary-themed collection, too, has welcomed many a new addition, including but certainly not limited to this deceptively simple colorway.

Building upon one of the silhouette’s most iconic colorways, this Air Force 1 begins in a way similar to the ever-ubiquitous “Triple White.” The branding, though, does help set the design apart: alongside incorporating red-hued, 40th-themed insignia, the shoe is layered with many a style of Swoosh, from subtle, debossed stamps to the much-beloved, jewel-inspired form. Gilded hardware, which arrives by way of the dubrae and eyelets, then rounds out the homage with a degree of luxury.

For a closer look at this Air Force 1, take a peek at the official images below. These should be hitting select retailers and Nike.com soon, so sit tight.
