Jared Ebanks Melding their historic heritage of performance silhouettes with a recent foray into future-forward fashionable aesthetics, the Jordan Series continues to delve out its roster of propositions since being introduced in 2021. Joining the color-blocking of the Air Jordan 1 Elevate and Jordan 1 Mid “Exploration Unit”, the low-top lifestyle model has reserved its latest duo of offerings for the return of its “DEAR” series.
Formerly penned to the “Future”, the “DEAR UNKNOWN” colorways employ a dominant treatment of Sail leathers and canvas panels accented by color-matched stitching along the midfoot, heel and tongue. Setting the two apart, the tonal spectrum is introduced unto the first build by way of suede Maroon eye stays and its sock liner while the former opts for Sky Blue accents instead. Breaking up the neutral-toned aesthetic a crisp white perforated vamp matches the hue of the adjacently placed laces on the crimson pair while a darker tan fills the forefoot of the latter. Providing further disparate elements, the debossed glossy heel counter renders the Baby Blue shade in contrast to its red establishments whereas the other is anchored by a Dark Grey coat.
