Sneaker News Lost in the deluge of 40th Anniversary themed Air Force 1 releases is the PLT.AF.ORM, a women’s exclusive model that combines the DNA of the ’82 classic with modern platform sneaker design. With a variety of colorways having released already — some including furry exteriors and jewels — Nike is reverting back to a classic build that speaks to the AF1 purist.
Seen here via official images is a clean blend of white tumbled leather, smooth navy blue leather, and a tan suede at the toe-box and lace collar. The three tones join forces to achieve that 80s friendly aesthetic, with the sail tint on the midsole giving that aged look and feel.
This PLT.AF.ORM, which should have appeal to the large community of Air Force 1 Shadow fans, is set to release on Nike.com in the coming weeks.
