Nike’s Be True collection has become customary for the summer. Although the brand launched a Nike SB Dunk Low in celebration of this year’s Pride Month, the Swoosh has recently unveiled official images of a second pair, which was initially thought to be an unused sample.
Akin to the pair that dropped at retail, the newly-surfaced style indulges in a mix of tones often associated with the expansive sexuality spectrum, though panels throughout the upper don’t favor a clean white makeup. Instead, the modified Nike Dunk features a yellow and light blue hue around the forefoot and heel, respectively, while base layers opt for a non-standard open mesh build. Panels across the upper boast Be True-specific graphics, with the titular sun motif landing clearly on the spine. The undersides of the tongue on the Nike SB proposition feature a welcomed message of inclusivity: “I see you always in all ways”.
Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, and anticipate a Nike.com launch date sometime next year.
In related sneaker news, the Air Jordan 4 continues to grow in popularity.
