Having officially debuted this past June, Zion Williamson’s second signature silhouette has undergone the full spectrum of the color palette, cooking up both team-ready and boisterous propositions for his nightly dominance on the hardwood. As evident through his “Voodoo” and “Naruto” collections, Jordan Brand has been more than apt to experimenting with their signature star out in NOLA, now proffering the first Pelicans-centric colorway for Williamson to rock throughout the 2022-23 season.
Centered around a light cream base that’s hue fills the perforated panels and strap of the forefoot, a darker shade – yet not quite the team’s synonymous muted gold – bears the mesh construction of the vamp and mudguard. Elsewhere, the Jordan Zion 2 indulges in an opposing outfit, flipping the tonal placement of its heel counter, collar, tongue, insoles and tips of the forefoot strap with the organization’s tried-and-true navy and maroon combination. Finalizing its design elements through a wave of premium embellishments, chenille fabrics adorn the tongue tabs insignias while the heel counter enjoys a fuzzy Jumpman alongside Zion’s initials finished in cursive whereas the model sits atop a clad gum tread in conclusion.
Set to release on November 17th, enjoy official images of the Jordan Zion 2 “Pelicans” below in the meantime.
For more basketball-ready propositions, the adidas Trae Young 2 “Team Solar Green” releases next Tuesday, November 1st.
