While used selectively so far, The Swoosh has begun infusing its lifestyle silhouettes with reinforced lace toggles ideal for the ensuing fall season. After rendering on top of both the Air Force 1 and Air Max 90, Christian Tresser’s 1997 design is enacting a black and silver winterized aesthetic.
Exploring a metallic finish, luminous silver hues coat the leather overlays of the upper and mesh construction of the tongue while its underlying layer renders the aforementioned textile in a jet-black offering. Further mirroring the sock liner and tongues pull tab, black and silver bungee cord-like laces match the lace toggle above whereas a clad cream sole unit presides underfoot. Utilizing its various Swooshes as titular accents, light pink hues outfit the latter in tandem with its vertical spine as the monochrome scheme concludes with a silver Air Max unit.
