Jovani Hernandez The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 hasn’t been a premier performance running sneaker since 2010, but it’s found a new life as a lifestyle model thanks to high-profile co-signs in the late 2010s. Recently, the silhouette emerged in a “Wheat Grass”-featuring style that’s helping usher in another retro run of the model.
Akin to previously seen “Cobblestone” and “Oatmeal” takes, the upcoming pair indulges in an autumn-friendly look. Shades of brown cover everything from the breathable mesh base to the structural leather overlays across the upper, with profile swooshes deviating in a bold orange. Reflective panels land all throughout the sneaker in-line with the Zoom Vomero 5’s functional origins. Underfoot, the Cushlon midsole and rubber outsole round out the “Wheat Grass” ensemble with fall-appropriate hues that match the top-half.
No firm Nike.com launch details have been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change soon.
