The Nike Air Force 1 Dresses Up In Georgetown Colors

The Nike Air Force 1 Dresses Up In Georgetown Colors

When Georgetown hoops gets mentioned who comes to mind? Is it the iconic pairing of Michael Jackson and Patrick Ewing winning the 1984 National Championship or maybe Allen Iverson dicing cats up in the kente cloth trimmed jerseys?  Either way The Swoosh is looking to harken the Washington D.C. based institution’s longstanding history on the hardwood having recently brought back the 80s classic Nike Terminator High in the aforementioned school’s tonal spectrum.

Now, Bruce Kilgore’s 1982 construction originally tooled for the court is receiving its own Hoyas makeover.

Pulling together tumbled leather panels with pre-worn suedes, the muted palette bears a “Summit White” base layer along its vamp, midfoot and mesh tongue while dipping the latter textured panels of the mudguard, heel and quarter in a “Smoke Grey” hue. Color-matched along its laces, sock liner and heel tab’s embroidered university style “NIKE” text, the school’s synonymous “Midnight Navy” cast is deploys along the smooth leather Swoosh and heel tab alongside the same style text seen on the tongue tab.

Completing the look with a crisp white sole unit in tandem with a greyed out tread, enjoy official images of the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Georgetown” below while we sit tight on the pair’s expected release within the coming weeks.

For more under the Beaverton-based brands umbrella, LeBron recently debuted the a “Lakers Away” colorway of the Nike LeBron 20.
