Though first brought to life by way of a crossover between Snow Peak and New Balance, the Niobium Concept 2 has since become a part of the footwear brand’s inline catalog. And following the release of several GR colorways, the two-way silhouette is now joining forces with another renowned name in Japanese fashion: Junya Watanabe MAN.
Spotted on the runway alongside the label’s SS23 collection, the Junya Watanabe MAN x New Balance Niobium Concept 2 is understated much like the designer’s previous collaborative efforts. From the Vibram sole to the leather and suede constructed upper, the shoe indulges almost entirely in black, with seldom hits of silver metallic applied to the toe box, vamp, and heel. What’s more, the NB and Vibram logos add even further contrast, highlighted in white and yellow, respectively.
For a closer look at the Junya Watanabe MAN x New Balance Niobium Concept 2, see below. Retailing for a whopping $655 USD, the collaboration is slated to hit select retailers on November 18th.
In other news, more detailed images of the Dunk Low Remastered 3.0 have surfaced.
