With December only a few weeks away, many of us are already getting into the Holiday Spirit. adidas, too, is basking in the happiest time of the year, decorating their Forum Low in a colorway heavily inspired by one of the most iconic Christmas films and children’s books of all-time: “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”

Similar to adidas’ previous licensed works — for example, the Campus 80s “Towelie” and several of their collaborations with The Simpsons — the Forum Low “Grinch” is a relatively accurate translation of the titular character’s design. The Three Stripes have left very little to the imagination, emulating the Dr. Seuss icon’s fur by way of the hairy suede upper and vibrant green colorway. Adjacent, the references only become more overt, with pins, hangtags, and graphics serving as brief snippets of the film and book.

For a closer look at the adidas Forum Low “Grinch,” see below. A firm release date has not yet been revealed, but it’s very possible we’ll be seeing these later in December.

In other news, the LeBron 20 Christmas is equally ready for the holidays.
