The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 isn’t the latest and greatest running proposition from the Swoosh, but it’s been one of the most celebrated since debuting in 2010. Thanks to co-signs from A-COLD-WALL* back in 2018, the sneaker has enjoyed a cult-like following amongst fashion enthusiasts over the last handful of years, which has likely prompted the recent slew of retros that’ve surfaced.
In addition to taking on “Cobblestone” and “Wheat Grass” tones, the Cushlon-cushioned silhouette has dressed up in a muted “Photon DustChrome/Gridiron/Sail” color combination sure to join dozens of sneaker rotations for its versatility. Set to debut as a women’s-exclusive, the unreleased pair features shimmering accents and overlays at the mid-foot and forefoot, injecting some flair from the early aughts to the 12-year-old design. Off-white takes over the aforementioned midsole, which couples with a pitch-dark, waffle-patterned outsole for a tried-and-proven ride.
No firm Nike.com launch date has been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change soon. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the women’s pair ahead.
