Michael Le From “Concord” to “Jubilee,” the Air Jordan 11 has closed out the last few years in a wide range of styles both familiar as well as brand new. And now that the Holiday Season is back in full swing, the Tinker Hatfield-designed silhouette is returning to the shelves in “Cherry,” a colorway that originally belonged to the AJ11 Low.
Revealed and leaked much earlier in the year, the Air Jordan 11 “Cherry” is a faithful, albeit taller, recreation of its low-top predecessor. Patent leathers are polished to a shine, then highlighted in the titular red. The latter also dresses the Jumpman logos throughout as well as the adjacent outsole, heel tab, lining, and sockliner. Elsewhere, the rest of the construction — i.e. the upper, lace unit, tongue, and midsole — are clad in white, while the bottom opts for a light, icy blue finish.
