Jared Ebanks Having been relatively reserved since its introduction this past summer, The Swooshes successor to its heralded Tailwind lineup is now being positioned to match the cooler climate and its unpredictable weather conditions with a near-clad black offering.
Extending the aforementioned pitch-dark shade across the Air Max TW’s ridged base layer and smooth nubuck overlays, further gloomy color matches render along the mesh tongue construction and laces. In an effort to brighten the overall proposition, the two-toned silhouette harkens a litany of “University Blue” accents across the trim of its forefoot Swoosh, mudguard and embroidered heel counter before indulging its lace loops, upper eye stays and sock liner in a more complete expression. Concluding the titular hues inclusion through its tongue tabs “TW” tooling, a murdered out all-black Cushlon sole unit finishes off the silhouette’s simplified design elements.

For more silhouette’s proffering a blue tonal palette, the New Balance 550 is returning in a “Vintage Indigo” ensemble.
