Amidst the Air Force 1’s 40th anniversary, The Swoosh has taken a multitude of trips down memory lane, returning to the 80’s widely-associated “Color of the Month” series alongside infusing throw-back propositions with original tooling from its 1982 birth year. In its latest effort, the latter is harkened alongside exposed foam detailing for a vintage-inspired silhouette.
Exploring midfoot stitching identical to its “Gorge Green” effort from over the summer, a crisp white base layer at the vamp and back half of the model proffer a clean slate for the employed duo of “Noble Green” and “Opti Yellow” to reign supreme. Premium tumbled leathers placed at the mudguard, quarter overlay and heel tab extend the mainstay forest green shade while its matching midfoot Swoosh comes accented by a vibrant yellow trim. Continuing to set forth its OG inspiration, aged cream shades envelop the tongue construction and presiding laces whereas the heel’s original 80s text proffers a hint of red that continues onto the insoles flag.
Finished by an all-green tread, enjoy official images of the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Noble Green/Opti Yellow” below in the meantime while we sit tight on further release details.
