Jared Ebanks Thanks to the timely return of its “Be True to Your School” collection, the Nike Dunk has enjoyed an extended run amongst the hierarchy of the Beaverton brand’s propositions, welcoming a constant stream of restocks for their University-centric offerings. Mirroring the hues of the latter with a darkened twist, “Bone” and crimson now pair for the latest continued dominance exuded by the Dunk Low.
Exploring a monochromatic effort throughout its smooth leather upper, both its base layer panels and stitched overlays render a clad “Bone” ensemble, color-matching the lightened neutral across its tongue tooling, laces and sock liner in a differing composition to the color blocking of its college colorways. Saving room for a colorful inclusion above, the silhouettes typical arrangements including its midfoot Swooshes, tongue trim and the base of the heel tab proffers a less vibrant red compared to its St. Johns counterpart. Underfoot, the latter renders a matching arrangement across its tread underfoot whereas a crisp white midsole compliments the dominant duo of shades in conclusion.
