Jared Ebanks Lush green foliage, hundreds of lakes and a steady stream of rainfall surrounds The Swoosh out in Oregon. With the state boasting an emphatic pride in both environmental and natural preservation, the brand is constantly exposed to the influential aspects of diverse biomes and their concurring wildlife, which now serves as the latest inspiration for the Nike Dunk Low.
Coating itself in the hues of Oregon’s most popular game fish, a Rainbow Trout aesthetic envelops the upcoming silhouette as seen in recently leaked imagery from kicksdong on Instagram. Dominated by dark olive suede overlays, the fishes vermiculation coats the vamp and midfoot base layer in a black and speckled yellow pattern. Further harkened embellishments land at the pale yellow Swooshes scaled texture – and added hook tooth – while indulging in a shimmering silvery finish similar to that of the Trouts underbelly. Explored in seldom fashion, titular shades incorporate along the bright orange tongue and heel tab while a pink finish presides directly underneath. Finished by a jet-black sock liner and dissimilar muted cream sole unit, the upcoming pair concludes with trout branded canvas tongue tabs.
