Michael Le At one point, Jeremy Scott and adidas were pumping out some of the hottest shoes on the market, lacing up celebrities the likes of A$AP Rocky, Rihanna, and Kanye West. And while the designer’s newer offerings with the Three Stripes aren’t quite as sought after, we may soon see the public reception begin to shift in 2023. Before delivering a drove of new designs, the partnership will kick off the new year with a more familiar silhouette, the adidas Forum Wings 4.0, clothing it in two glossy, albeit monochromatic colorways.
“Triple Black” and “Triple White” are nothing new for the Jeremy Scott x adidas Forum Wings 4.0, as the model appeared in similar colorways earlier this year. But even though they’re familiar in this respect, the duo do begin to distinguish themselves with their choice of materials. The black pair, for example, is subtly clad in an iridescent leather, with refractions visible at certain angles; its white counterpart, though similarly glossy, is much simpler, relegating its brighter hues to the lower heel.
