While Jordan Brand has extended a specialized interest in expanding their lifestyle silhouettes through the Jordan Series, Delta 3 and Granville Pro as of late, 2008 saw the birth of such a movement 20 years after MJ’s second retirement with the Jordan 6 Rings. Set to celebrate its 15th year in rotation this coming new year, the celebratory silhouette is now indulging in Jumpman’s iconic “Cool Grey” colorway.
Having clothed the pair in the full slate of the brand’s staple tonal outfits, the Air Jordan 11’s synonymous near-clad greyscale scheme instead plays a favorable accent to the crisp white tooling of its tongue, quarter, leather overlays and heel counter. Setting down along the model’s shimmering patent leather panel, further “Cool Grey” contrasts proffer amongst the lace lock, chenille tongue tab and the embroidered Jumpman affixed to the heel counter. Underfoot, a solid white midsole pairs with the Air Jordan 13’s lined grey tread and a neon green holographic panther eye which round out the silhouette’s finishing touches.
No release date information has been made available just yet, so in the meantime enjoy official images of the Jordan 6 Rings “Cool Grey” below.
