But with March fast-approaching, Nike is making several preparations for Air Max Day, including delivering new, inline colorways of classics the likes of the Air Max 90.
The Air Max 90 “Diffused Blue” is but one of the catalog’s many newcomers. But unlike the options before it, this pair prefers a much simpler, more straightforward color blocking, with cool tones dressing not just the suede overlays but also the mesh inserts, eye stays, laces, and the like. Black and white neutrals do come to play, albeit only in seldom: the darker of the two marks the outsole and Swoosh, while its tonal opposite highlights the shoe’s various logos.
