Sneaker News Popularized by Ronnie Fieg’s color-blocking technique on his ASICS GEL-Lyte III collaboration from way back in 2011, the “Salmon Toe” look — without any affiliation with Kith — lands on the Dunk Low.
Arriving on this kids exclusive colorway, this “Salmon Toe” Dunk sees the muted shade of pinkish-orange on the toe-box and toe-guard, while the remainder of the package sees a royal blue on the mid-panel, lace eyelet, heel, and the outsole. A sandy khaki beige makes an appearance on the Swoosh logo, while a soothing aquamarine green fills in the ankle and interior lining. Had Nike opted for navy blue and white, the comparisons to Fieg’s creation would only be stronger.
