While the upcoming proposition isn’t connected to Maxey’s recent signing, the ensemble instead mirrors the recently employed New Balance 2002R’s pouch-dawning proposition through a cool wash of crisp white enveloping the vamp and midfoot panels while coming accented by seldom digitized “Navy” accents. Coordinating an aged aesthetic through the “Sea Salt” hues found laying claim to its tongue construction and overlapping “N” logo, further dark blue shades work their way into the mix via a lace accent, the trim of the midfoot logo, nylon sock liner and adjacently placed pull tabs. Further attributing the two-toned medley across its sole unit underfoot, seldom dark maroon contrasts enact a miniaturized “N” placed at the base of its predecessor while finishing with embroidered brain motifs affixed to the tongues.
