The Air Jordan 1 Low Craft hasn’t gained the sort of ubiquity as other propositions in Michael Jordan’s storied sneaker series, but it continues to showcase what’s possible for the line.
Recently, the elevated take on the late Peter Moore’s 38-year-old design emerged in a purplish grey, black, and off white color combination. Akin to other iterations from the Air Jordan lineup, non-standard materials and an untraditional arrangement land on the unreleased pair, injecting a lifestyle-first approach to the performance-basketball-informed blueprint. Exposed and “inside-out” details throughout the upper – namely the collar area – also fall in line with the “deconstructed” aesthetic introduced to the mainstream zeitgeist by Virgil Abloh in 2017 via his “The Ten” collection. Underfoot, the oft-imitated Air Jordan 1’s sole unit opts for an off white midsole and greyish outsole.
Enjoy an early look at the pair ahead, and anticipate a nike.com launch in the first-half of 2023.
