Michael Le For years, fans of the Air Kukini pleaded with Nike to bring the model back. In 2022, the brand finally relented, reissuing both new and familiar styles alike. The silhouette is thankfully sticking around for 2023, preparing to drop in one of its loudest, busiest colorways yet.
Similar to many a prior entry, this newly-revealed Nike Air Kukini layers prints underneath its signature, web-like cage. But when compared to the “Water” as well as “The Mighty Swooshers,” the colorway here is busier in its visuals, as stripes wrap the entire base in a black and Volt color scheme. The fixtures across the exterior do little to balance out said pattern, as the gum soles, purple accents, and white TPU/overlays make for an even more distracting design.
