With his first collaborative adidas Orketro silhouettes just a few days away, Sean Wotherspoon has already begun teasing his next slate of roughly textured propositions alongside a full slate of adidas Gazelles. While those will be clamoring to get their hands on the next advantageous design from the Virginia native, the future forward 90s aesthetic of the Orketro is now receiving an inline collection of neutrally-toned efforts.
Kicking things off with a greyscale effort, the once boisterous collection of hues and pre-worn textures are done away with in favor of a crisp composition. Exploring a simple “Aluminum” mesh base layer, the surrounding tongue overlays and connecting 3-Stripes dawning the forefoot additionally indulge in the tonal ensemble. Treating its flame-like overlays to a centralized swatch of “Off-White” with jet-black accents, a medley of cream tones outfit the adiPRENE cushioned sole unit underfoot. Affixed to both of the tongues, a deep shade of “Purple Night” anchors the silhouette’s mainstay branding in conclusion.
