Stüssy has been an a roll with its solo and collaborative efforts over the last few years. At the end of 2022, the streetwear godfather launched two styles of the Nike Air Penny 2 to notable success. Recently, a third style of the Nike Basketball classic surfaced.
Built with hemp, suede, and leather materials, the upcoming collaboration from Stüssy mixes muted tan and black tones with an eye-catching blue. The most vibrant of the three aforementioned hues animates branding on the lateral mid-foot. Furthermore, a darker shade lands on the visible Air Max unit underfoot. Each design choice on the third Air Penny 2 by Stüssy helps promote Anfernee Deon “Penny” Hardaway’s legacy years after his last NBA game. The sneaker likely also reveals the streetwear label’s color palette for its Spring/Summer 2023 collection.
No firm Nike SNKRS launch details have been disclosed, but that’s likely to change soon. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the pair ahead.
