The adidas D.O.N. Issue #4 Joins The Grambling State Family

The adidas D.O.N. Issue #4 Joins The Grambling State Family

While he attended Louisville University, Donovan Mitchell has long been supporting and uplifting HBCUs, dawning an “HBCU PRIDE” letterman jacket during the 2021-22 season, and now, his fourth signature silhouette with the Three Stripes will look to suit up in Grambling State’s official tonal scheme.

Mirroring LeBron’s Player-Exclusive efforts for FAMU, the men’s and women’s teams will now have the option to dawn the adidas D.O.N. Issue #4 in their team colors as a 3-Stripes program. Dominated by a jet-black base layer, the upper’s digitized aesthetic assumes white and golden yellow accents littered throughout while the Grambling State logo and Mitchell’s insignia paint each of the tongues in a matching tone. Brightened by the crisp white forefoot stripes and the heel counter’s barely visible cream tiger stripes, the HBCU’s mascot renders a tiger motif on the tongue’s medial side while the insoles receive an additional stripped coat featuring hits of yellow and black.

Completed by splitting the Lightstrike midsole’s cream and black composition in continuation of the ensemble above, enjoy official images of the adidas D.O.N. Issue #4 “Grambling State” below while we sit tight on further release details.

In other news, Vanessa Bryant recently shared a first look at the upcoming Nike Kobe 6 Protro “BHM”.
