Vanessa Bryant Shares A Look At The Nike Kobe 6 Protro “BHM”

Before the month-long celebration of Black excellence and African-American achievements officially kicked off, Vanessa Bryant took to Instagram on the last night of January to share an intimate look at an upcoming Nike Kobe 6 Protro for Black History Month.

While dedicated Kobe fans, hoop heads and sneaker aficionados have waited in gleeful anticipation for the next Nike Kobe Bryant release, last May saw the official return of the silhouette in a monochromatic homage to the life of Gianna Bryant and the Mambacita Foundation. 2023, in stark comparison, is set to enjoy the first full-fledged run of propositions since the entities struck up a new agreement in March.

Holistically disparate when assessed alongside its 2011 “BHM” counterpart, a subtle cream to chocolate brown gradient fills the snakeskin upper and midsole before the translucent counter additionally indulges in a conclusory transition of shades. Pairing “Sail”-treated laces with the sock liner and outsoles jet-black contrasts, a blissful sample of a vibrant “University Blue” consumes the Zoom-infused heel and aglets whereas the titular pink midfoot Swoosh proffers an Airbrush finish with blue trim.

Alongside the anticipated release of the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Reverse Grinch” and the return of the Nike Kobe 4 Protro, enjoy a first look at the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “BHM” below while we sit tight to see if the model will introduce the beginnings of another Nike Basketball collection.

In other news from the Beaverton-based brand, the Tiffany and Co. x Nike Air Force 1 is releasing on March 7th.
