Jared Ebanks While their on-court matchups remain iconic in their own right, Michael Jordan and Larry Bird’s battle in their 1992 McDonald’s commercial has paved its own place in history for a number of reasons. With a majority of the iconic pieces worn throughout his career were sneakers, Jordan’s vibrant sweater from that commercial has proffered a number of inspirational silhouettes. Bearing titular multi-color stripes, the “Nothing But Net” scheme now collects across the Air Jordan 37 Low in a reserved approach.
In concert with the Air Jordan 7’s matching release from 2015, the geometric graphic filled with red, purple, blue and yellow lays claim to the tongue tabs in a seldom appearance of the cult-classic color combination. Dominated by jet-black nubuck uppers and sock liners, bright “Game Royal” comes stitched into the laces in a dashed effort while a crisp white sole unit contrasts the clad pitch-dark upper above for a simplistic offering that pairs vastly.
Concluded by rendering the latter four hues in a sectioned arrangement underfoot amongst the tread, enjoy official images of the Air Jordan 37 Low “Nothing But Net” below while we await further release details in the meantime.
