Inspired by the fight and courage exuded by the young patients of Oregon’s Heath and Science University, Nike’s 18th annual Doernbecher collection has been revealed in its entirety. Coordinating both silhouettes old and new, the Nike Air Max 90 tells the story of Emerson Harrell’s early investment goals.
Featuring a lightened blue color palette when compared to the Tucson-associated navy, the latter dances across the upper’s smooth leather quarter overlay and tongue construction while bright white tones render as the pair’s rippled base layer. Contrasted by a greyscale brush touching down across the initial ridged quarter, AIR MAX branding and midsole cushioning unit, “Powder Blue” outfits the exterior nubuck panel bearing “BEARDOWN” branding – in addition to the lace aglets. Accompanied by “E$” tongue and heel logos inspired by the Sherwood, Oregon native’s dreams of becoming an investor, both the vibrant red sock liner and insoles proffer a bodacious array of paisley prints for its finishing touch.
While we await further release details, enjoy official images of the Doernbecher Nike Air Max 90 “Emerson Harrell” below in the meantime.
In other news from the Beaverton brand, the Nike Air Force 1 “Valentine’s Day” is releasing this month.
