Debuted at the tail-end of 2021, the adidas ADI2000 has since expanded the 3-Stripes skateboard offerings in seldom while infusing the 2000s widely-appreciated Y2K aesthetic. Following its most recent dressing in a collaborative effort with Yu-Gi-Oh!, a luxurious snakeskin textile now envelops the contemporary design.
Introduced via a monochromatic pairing, crisp “Cloud White” hues encase the smooth leather base layer and mesh tongue construction while “Core Black” contrasts outfit the mid-foot 3-Stripes, sock liner, heel counter and widened laces. Evoking a dominantly employed premium tooling, a “Magic Beige” treated faux snakeskin proclaims across the heavily attributed overlays across the vamp, quarter and heel. Underfoot, the neutral ensemble furthers down the latter rabbit hole with a simplistic “Sail” midsole before the tread pairs blacks and creams underfoot.
