Jared Ebanks Fresh off of dropping 16 dimes against the New Orleans Pelicans, Trae Young’s second signature silhouette with the Three Stripes has proffered a seldom slate of releases since its debut in late October. While the model’s color blocking has been both playful and reserved, the first appearance of a graphic motif touches down on the latest ensemble with bolts of lighting dashing across the adidas Trae Young 2.
Curing its adaptive SCK360 knit upper in a pitch-dark wash of “Legend Ink”, seldom navy overlays pair with the thin nylon laces above for a gloomy contrast. In tandem with its adilette-inspired 3-Stripes across the forefoot, crisp white embroidered streaks of lightning illuminate the latter while a shimmering silver metallic coat lays claim to the mudguard and embossed heel tabs. Further brightened by stitching its heel with a repeated array of “Pulse Blue”, the latter injects titular personality into the mid-foot shank while a “Cloud White” BOOST sole unit pairs with the initial introduction of “Legend Ink” along the tread in conclusion.
