An Outdoorsy Multi-Color Touches Down Across The Nike Air Max 90 Futura

Futura tooling has lent an updated aesthetic to The Swooshes’ wide-ranging Air Max efforts, rendering an expressive slate of disparate textures most widely attributed to the Nike Air Max 90. While the model has recently indulged in a reserved palette of primary colors, the latest composition enjoys an earthy outlook with vibrant hits.

Introduced via a crisp white mesh base layer, the forefoot’s smooth leather overlays dawn a simplistic greyscale undertone while a vibrant wash of faded neon energizes the surrounding lacing structure in tandem with pops of orange anchoring the semi-translucent eyestays. Color matched in a more vibrant take along its mid-foot Swoosh, swatches of “Volt” begin to illuminate the full-length suede mudguard comprised of a dominant olive sampling while the sole unit underfoot returns to the monochromatic base. Elsewhere, a seldom burnt orange encases the tread tip before pastel lavenders coat the pair’s opposing embellishments along the nubuck tongue and heel tabs alongside its adjacently placed pull tabs.
