“Light Bone” Gives The Nike Air Max 97 A Clean Makeover

“Light Bone” Gives The Nike Air Max 97 A Clean Makeover

Although the Nike Air Max 97 is no longer celebrating its 25th anniversary, the silhouette continues to emerge in compelling new styles.

Recently, Christian Tresser’s 26-year-old design surfaced in a a “Light Bone” makeup. Unlike other off white styles, however, the unreleased Air Max shoe features an abstract pattern across its fabric mudguard. Vamp overlays above it take on various shades of white, with a bone-like hue taking over most of the tongue and collar. Underfoot, the model’s revolutionary sole unit keeps things simple: foam surrounding the visible Air bubble opt for a pure white finish, while the Air unit prefers a cream look. Traction underneath follows suit.

No nike.com release date is known, but that’s likely to change soon. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the pair ahead.
