Derrick Rose’s Bright Yellow adidas D Rose 1 Restomod “All-Star” Returns

Before becoming the League’s youngest MVP and being dealt a duo of career-altering knee injuries, in 2011 Derrick Rose was the first Chicago Bull to be selected to an All-Star game since Michael Jordan in 1998. Named to his second All-Star game in his third season in the League, Rose capitalized off the momentous occasion by pulling up to Los Angeles in a boisterous, bright yellow rendition of his first signature silhouette with adidas, which is available now for the first time since its first Restomod treatment in 2020.

Initially released in 2010 as a tonal homage to Rose’s Chicago high school team – Simeon Academy – the titular ensemble returns in the pair’s exact specifications that made it such an overwhelmingly popular composition on the circuit and within high school gyms across the country. Casting an immediately eye-catching “Team Yellow” across everything from its heavily perforated toe box to its heel, engaging in a near-clad ensemble. Additionally illuminated by touches of “Royal Blue” marking the pair’s myriad of accents, the sole unit has been renovated from PUREMOTION cushioning to the brand’s staple Lightstrike tooling.
