adidas TERREX Debuts An All New Hiking Solution Made By Women For Women

During the pandemic, a sample size of 1,301 women from across the world was asked about their hiking habits. Finding 4 in 10 women took up the adventurous outdoor escapades during the lockdown, the adidas TERREX design team has since been working to meet the growing needs of the newfound audience. The result is the debut of the newly crafted adidas TERREX WMN Hiker Mid Rain.Rdy, designed by women for women.

Tested amongst one of the largest female hiking communities in Europe – the Munich Mountain Girls – the latter insights provided invaluable opinions on where to place the silhouette’s cushioning and rubberized support structures. Exploring the unique ways the female foot strikes the ground and the subsequent impact upon the Achilles tendon, the RAIN.RDY materials throughout provide a waterproof ride from mountainous landscapes to an evening stroll. Elsewhere, a Continental™ Rubber outsole is affixed underfoot in line with past TERREX efforts while a stretchy material consumes the high-top collar and ankle padding for added protection.

Scheduled to release on March 28th for a retail price of $160 in its plum and orange accented colorway, enjoy official images of the adidas TERREX WMN Hiker Mid Rain.Rdy below in the meantime.

In other news, the Air Jordan 9 “Powder Blue” is returning in 2024 for its 30th anniversary.
