Michael Le Thanks to partnerships with the likes of Kiko Kostadinov, JJJJound, and the like, ASICS has surged in popularity over the course of the last few years. And whereas a few GR offerings — such as that of the GEL-Kayano 14 and several of Kostadinov’s inline models — have gone on to sell out, some releases still fall to the wayside. It’s likely few pay attention to the GEL-TRABUCO 11 GTX, for instance, despite recently delivering a new, “Black/Carrier Grey” colorway.
Sibling to the sneaker reworked by Brain Dead back in 2021, the ASICS GEL-TRABUCO 11 GTX is designed with the trail in mind, evolving the technology of its predecessors. Its construction features a water-resistant, GORE-TEX membrane that keeps its wearer both dry as well as warm. What’s more, an adaptive guidance system and wide basenets create a more stable ride on a variety of terrains, while the updated rock protection plate and added 2mm of foam shield your feet and provide additional comfort, respectively. All of the above is packaged in an understated, “Black” and “Carrier Grey” upper, which features topographic detailing along sections of the forefoot and Tiger Stripe.
Enjoy a detailed look at the ASICS GEL-TRABUCO 11 GTX “Black/Carrier Grey” via the official images ahead. If you’d like a pair for any upcoming activities, they’re available right now via ASICS.com.
In unrelated news, the Action Bronson New Balance 990v6 releases globally later this week.
