Most readily prepared alongside the aid of a collaborator, the adidas ZX series was most recently brought into the fold by Gucci’s longtime association with the 3-Stripes. While the clouds begin to part and new roots take form, the ZX 8000 is simultaneously readying a duo of general releases for the onset of Spring.

Highlighted by the hues that fill the sky on a partly cloudy day, the pictured proposition casts an overwhelming wave of differently shaded blues atop the diversely tooled silhouette, pairing its ballistic mesh base layer with suede-treated overlays and its rubberized heel counter. While a mint-flavored sole unit compliments the pastels of the Torsion-cushioned silhouette’s upper, the leather sock liner, suede mudguard and 3-Stripes render opposing ends of the pair in a “Cream White” outfit while hints of lavender accent the underside of the mid-foot branding

Currently available overseas in Europe, enjoy official images of the adidas ZX 8000 “Sky Tint” below while we await further details regarding a stateside release.

In other news, Penny Hardaway’s Nike Air Foamposite One “Black/White” PE is releasing in April.
