Sneaker News Laker fans are patiently waiting return of King James from the foot injury incurred in late February, but if LA is in the outside looking in to the Play-In, will we even see LeBron lace up the 20s again? With less than a dozen games to go in the regular season, we might’ve seen the last of the all-time scoring leader in his current signature model before the debut of the Nike LeBron 21 next season.
However, Nike’s steadily releasing new LeBron 20 colorways, like this kids-exclusive “Racer Blue” colorway on April 1st. While there’s a clear multi-colored approach as seen in the purple knit yarns, the green trim, and light purple outsole, the shoes are primarily anchored in a blue and orange pairing that reminds us of the iconic “Hardwood Classic” colorway. This nod to Cleveland’s throwback uniforms is most commonly associated with the LeBron 7 and LeBron 8 Player Exclusives from 2009 and 2010, but it’s welcome throughout the entire Nike LeBron footwear legacy.
Again, a release of the LeBron 20 GS “Racer Blue” is scheduled for April 1st for $160; stay tuned for updates.
