Laker fans are patiently waiting return of King James from the foot injury incurred in late February, but if LA is in the outside looking in to the Play-In, will we even see LeBron lace up the 20s again? With less than a dozen games to go in the regular season, we might’ve seen the last of the all-time scoring leader in his current signature model before the debut of the Nike LeBron 21 next season.
However, Nike’s steadily releasing new LeBron 20 colorways, like this kids-exclusive “Racer Blue” colorway on April 1st. While there’s a clear multi-colored approach as seen in the purple knit yarns, the green trim, and light purple outsole, the shoes are primarily anchored in a blue and orange pairing that reminds us of the iconic “Hardwood Classic” colorway. This nod to Cleveland’s throwback uniforms is most commonly associated with the LeBron 7 and LeBron 8 Player Exclusives from 2009 and 2010, but it’s welcome throughout the entire Nike LeBron footwear legacy.
Again, a release of the LeBron 20 GS “Racer Blue” is scheduled for April 1st for $160; stay tuned for updates.
In other LeBron news, the Air Zoom Generation is set to drop in the OG White/Black/Red colorway soon.
