Over the last two years, the Salomon XT-6 silhouette has gone from performance model to fashion crowd-favorite. Unbeknownst to many, however, the off-road-ready sneaker has been around since 2013, an accomplishment a special “10th Anniversary” edition celebrates.
Clad in “Fiery Red,” the latest take on Salomon‘s “it” shoe makes a statement from miles away. The ultramarathon-informed model features to shades of ruby-colored flair across its mix of breathable mesh and resistant TPU film upper. Underfoot, the Agile Chassis™ System, EnergyCell midsole, and Mud Contagrip® outsole also opt for a two-tone arrangement that covers the function-first design in a whole lot of red. A call out to the shoes’ 10th anniversary appears on the lateral heel – “10Y” – although some reports state the XT-6 debuted in 2012. The French company, however, claims the world-class proposition launched in 2013, making the special “Fiery Red/White/Goji Berry” edition on time.
Enjoy detailed photos of the pair ahead. No official release details have been disclosed by Salomon, but select shops have the shoes scheduled to drop on March 28 for $220 USD.
