Michael Le Since being discharged from the military back in 2019, G-Dragon has kept relatively quiet, releasing little save for front page looks, collaborative Nikes, and apparel under PEACEMINUSONE. But as revealed this past month, the BIGBANG leader could soon be making a comeback, sharing with Harper’s Bazaar that he’s working on a brand new project that “makes [his] heart flutter in many ways.”
That’s not all the beloved South Korean artist has prepared for us, as he’s just publicly unveiled that the PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1 “Black/White” is finally nearing its long-awaited release. Arriving over an entire year after its “Triple White” predecessor, the pair — which was leaked to the public this past June and unveiled officially the following August — conjures to mind images of the ubiquitous “Panda” colorway. The brogue detailing is highlighted in a dark black, matching the finish of the midsole below as well as the Swoosh, lace cover, and overlays adjacent. White then dresses up the rest of the shoe, from the leather base to the exterior co-branding.
