For nearly 40 years the Air Jordan 1 has breathed diversified life within Jumpman’s catalog of lifestyle-centric offerings, taking the Peter Moore design under a multitude of knives that have changed as trends come and go. Continuing to expand its catalog of silhouettes reserved exclusively for the ladies, the Beaverton brand has cooked up yet another seldom renovation with the Air Jordan 1 High MM.

Joining the Air Jordan 1 Elevate and Zoom CMFT underneath the banner of the AJ 1’s more experimental propositions, the all-new construction exaggerates each of its tumbled leather panels with a protruding edge for a multi-dimensional aesthetic. While a heavily cracked treatment presides throughout the pair’s assortment of overlays, the mid-foot underlay and upper collar indulge in a textured departure through its incorporation of canvas.

In keeping with its unique composition, an equally distinctive palette is employed with plum-colored quarters and heels while the mudguard and upper ankle come opposed in a darkened “Galactic Jade”. Elsewhere, an assemblage of neutrals illuminates the latter tinctures as the Swoosh and winged insignia are filled with a smooth “Desert” tone.
