Reebok Brings Pump Technology Back To The Club C 85

Reebok Brings Pump Technology Back To The Club C 85

First introduced back in 1989, Reebok Pump has outfitted many of the footwear brand’s most iconic sneakers, from the Pump Omni Zone II to the Instapump Fury. And while not a regular addition to the classic’s kit, the Club C, too, has donned the technology, doing so alongside DGK in the 2000s. Fast forward more than a decade later and the Pump is once again returning to the tennis staple, this time atop a Retro-inspired colorway.

Ostensibly inspired by the line-up’s past offerings, the upcoming Reebok Club C 85 Pump is sat atop a yellowed midsole, conjuring to mind images of pairs many years its senior. Through the upper, the leathers are kept a pristine shade of white much like the adjacent laces, lining, and tongue. The Pump integrated into the latter fixture, though, is highlighted in a bright red, matching the part of the heel’s embroidery that reads “The pump.” Above, “Reebok” is instead threaded in the same blue shade as the trim around the collar, the checkerboard of the tongue’s backside, and the branding along the lateral window.

In other news, Kiki Rice recently unveiled the Air Jordan 38.
