Jovani Hernandez Bodega and Vault by Vans have teamed up once again for a story-driven collaboration. The result?: A two-pack of the Chukka in makeovers inspired by the Post-War and Mid-Century eras.
Each pair in the latest linkup between the two North American institutions has been meticulously crafted to create period-correct offerings. Light greens and washed out browns tell the story of army surplus items that became part of casual life in the mid-20th century, as well as that of the minimal, genre-pushing architecture and design language of the era. Canvas and suede also help expand the narrative. Bodega and Vault by Vans also employ metal and tortoise eyelets, metal aglets, and furniture-inspired mesh tongues across their Mid-Top Modern Chukka Pack.
