When the Nike Terminator was dusted off from the Beaverton archives last summer, it was only right for the silhouette to return its archival “Georgetown” colorway, paying homage to the roots sewn from John Thompson’s request from The Swoosh for a program-exclusive basketball silhouette. Following a collaborative collection with COMME des GARÇONS, the 80s on-court staple is harkening back to its “Be True To You School” days by taking a road trip to Lexington, Kentucky and Rupp Arena.
Dipped in the exact same two-toned color blocking that coated its Dunk Low counterpart in 2020, the Kentucky Wildcats’ synonymous White/Blue palette extends across the Terminator High’s clad leather ensemble. As such, a crisp white hue engages the high-top model’s flat leather base layer while its usual trappings such as the presiding overlays, mid-foot Swoosh and the heel’s enlarged “NIKE” logo come anchored in a vibrant “Game Royal” finish.
Completed by a staple white midsole and treated tread, enjoy official images of the Nike Terminator High “Kentucky” below while we await further release details of the fourth extension of the “BTTYS” pack.
In other news from the Nike Inc. banner, the Nike Dunk Low “Panda” is receiving yet another restock on April 13th.
