A Nike Air Max 1 ’86 “Smokey Mauve” Is On The Way

A Nike Air Max 1 ’86 “Smokey Mauve” Is On The Way

The Swoosh hasn’t disclosed its full plan for the Nike Air Max 1 ’86, but the silhouette will stay around for at least a few color schemes.

After having returned in all of its original “University Red” glory on March 26, the sneaker has emerged in a retro “Smokey Mauve” finish. Textile bases opt for a “White” tone that allows for the shades of brown that divvy up the remainder of the upper to share the spotlight. Branding on the tongue label and spine favor a “colorless” look as well, but sockliners introduce a rich blue into the mix. Underfoot, the midsole’s foam portion keeps things clean, while the big bubble Air Max unit dons the titular light brown hue. Waffle-patterned traction underneath revers to a darker brown for a smart, new look.

Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead. A Nike SNKRS launch should take place before summer ends.

In related sneaker news, the Air Jordan 1 continues to expand its roster of styles.
