Blondey McCoy Presents His Own Spin On The adidas Gazelle Indoor

Blondey McCoy, who was at one point the de facto face of Palace Skateboards, has maintained quite the longstanding collaborative relationship with the Three Stripes. And after reimagining the Superstar several ways, the multi-hyphenate is now directing his attention to yet another one of adidas’ icons: the Gazelle Indoor.

The Blondey McCoy x adidas Gazelle Indoor is nowhere near as revealing as the above-mentioned Shell Toe. In place of the translucent TPU, the pair proffers an off-white ripstop, which builds out both the base as well as the tongue. Black, then, details many of the adjacent fixtures, from the resculpted midsole to the glossy overlays layered along the toe, eye stays, and heel tab. And while the Stripes are done up in the same material, the fixtures’ color is not quite as subdued, its deep greens a complement to the gilded logos present throughout the shoe.
