Sneaker News After returning to stores back in late February, the New Balance 996 continues its Made In USA series by joining a seasonal capsule anchored by a timeless colorway.
As recently seen in the New Balance 990v6 and the New Balance 998, the simple one-two punch of grey and navy completes a breathtaking colorway that exudes an effortless excellence. The 996, which itself is celebrating a 35th Anniversary in 2023, utilizes a much hairier grain of suede, adding to that vintage, throwback look. Navy blue suede accents the slanted-N logo and the heel foxing, white classic gym mesh in white appears on the toe-box, tongue construction, and ankle quarter. Classic branding appears on the tongue label, with Made In USA text proudly stamped on the insoles.
