Sneaker News The final Air Jordan 1 collaboration by Travis Scott (at least for the foreseeable future) is finally here, and the Houston native may have saved his best for last.
Nicknamed the “Olive” for its use of the darkened green shade, this Air Jordan 1 Low OG SP arrives exclusively in women’s sizing with options ranging from W5/M3.5 up to W15.5/M14. These are essentially a unisex size release given how broad the range is as it also includes PS and TD sizing.
Easily recognized for the over-sized reverse Swoosh logo, this latest AJ1 also utilizes shades of sail white and black on the upper with a leather and suede construction. Travis Scott’s “Cactus Jack” ephemera appears via the embroidery on the heel and tongue, with custom insoles to boot. A pre-yellowed midsole provides the earthy aged look that’s been a common thematic throughout all of Travis Scott’s Air Jordan 1 collaborations.
As reported back in September, this will indeed be the last Air Jordan 1 as the Travis Scott x Nike, Inc. partnership looks to explore other silhouettes in the brand catalog. This may however be a simple marketing tactic to generate more hype and anticipation for future releases.
The official release date for the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG SP “Olive” is April 26th; the shoes will release on the SNKRS App through a Draw at 10am ET. A select number of retailers worldwide will also release the shoes via their own independent raffles, so check out the store list just below and enter as many as you can.
