With roots from the hardwood dating back to 1982, the Nike Air Force 1 has been sanctioned to a disparate array of diverse toolings. While cut-out Swooshes, gingham accents and clad-nubuck constructions have invigorated the low-top option as of late, the Bruce Kilgore design now opts for an amalgamation of textiles for a patchwork ensemble that breathes versatility into the model’s synonymous paneling.
Cast in a tonal collection of neutrals, the chosen blended palette enjoys just as unique a color blocking as the various textures chosen. Forming the mudguard and foxing utilizing smooth leather, creamy tumbled features come injected within the vamp while sand-dusted suedes land throughout the mid-foot. Brightening its Swoosh, laces, tongue and collar in crisp white hues, the summer-ready ensemble comes anchored by a seldom yet illuminating lemon yellow tincture at the semi-translucent tread, stitched tongue tab, embossed heel logo and “Air” lettering that cures the milky midsole underfoot.
Packaged within anti-static bags to preserve the finely curated fabrics, enjoy official images of the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Patchwork” below while we await further release details expected to be made available in the coming weeks.
In other news from the Beaverton brand, the highly anticipated Jarritos x Nike SB Dunk Low is set to arrive next Saturday, May 6th.
